Purposeful Life List

Purposeful Life List

How many people do you know that can actually view the progress of their life, and identify where they set goals and accomplished them?

Not many. Many of us follow the ways set before us without a thought back to whether it was really what we wanted or not. I, FINALLY, sat back one afternoon to take inventory of what I've done and what I want to do. Within a few minutes of contemplation it was clear that I was hooked into a set of tracks taking me where I am and not where I wanted to be. At a young age I tried to live with a mindset that I was "Fearless". Not fearless in that I'd do anything stupid just to do it, though there were a few instances of that. I didn't want to live a life where I just played it safe. I didn't want to let fear of some particular end result drive my direction in life. As I aged and responsibilities grew I fell more into that safe zone. Now I sit in a car 4 hours out of a day to get to a desk that I spend 9-10 hours behind. Day in and day out.

With these thoughts in mind I came up with an idea, that has always existed and others have done, but for whatever reason I never saw the positive to it until right this very second. I'm compiling a list of life goals that I'm calling the Purposeful Life List. This list will contain goals I have set to complete in my lifetime. They throw disregard to costs, logistics, etc. and centralize on the things that I want. Things that when when my bell comes a tolling I can truly say "I've lived the life I wanted". If you’re interested in creating your own life goals and need some help, feel free to contact me or see my post here.
